General features
The Paname is the latest model from Voltaire, and also the very first two-seater. Thanks to its extended saddle, it can carry two adults.
With its 20-inch wheels, our Paname model is designed for users from 1m55 to 1m90. The seat height is 84 cm. If you're taller or shorter, we recommend you try before you order.
You can carry a large child in the back and a baby in the front, up to a maximum load of 180 kg, bike, passengers and accessories included. The 2 adults and 1 child option is also available.
Our bikes are EN-15194 approved, the European standard for electric bikes, and the battery is EN-62133 approved.
We offer a wide range of accessories to cover every need: additional rear seat for adult or child, footrest, child seat, baby seat, dual battery, under-seat storage rack and much more.
Battery and autonomy
As with our other models, the Paname's battery is removable for charging at home. It can also be locked with a key if you wish to leave it in the bike.
With the standard 2A charger supplied, the battery can be charged in 8 hours from a standard mains socket.
The battery weighs 4.2 kg and has a capacity of 760 Wh. It gives you up to 75 km of range. A double battery can be purchased as an option to extend the maximum range.
Engine and assistance
The Bafang motor is located in the rear wheel. It offers 80 Nm of torque and 250 Watts of power, in compliance with European legislation.
There are 3 levels of assistance, adjustable from the console on the handlebars.
Assistance cuts out above 25 km/h. You can go faster than 25 km/h, but the motor won't assist you beyond that.
Equipped with a Shimano 7-speed derailleur, the Paname will help you on the flat as well as on the steepest climbs.

Maintenance and warranty
As with our other models, there is a two-year manufacturer's warranty on all bike components, excluding breakage and theft and wear parts (brake discs and pads, tires, etc.).
Consult the manual and clean regularly. A free, compulsory first overhaul is due at 300 km or 3 months.

The bike is due to go on sale in spring 2026, and will be available for trial in our Paris and Brussels stores.

Padlocks are available in our stores (AXA and Abus) as an option. We can also install an Airtag GPS beacon in our stores.
