Our 28' models are best suited to cyclists between 1m70 and 2m.

Our Legendre model can be used by cyclists between 1m70 and 2m.

All our models have a height-adjustable saddle that allows the bike to adapt perfectly to your height. If you are taller or shorter, we advise you to try before you order.

Our models are approved to EN-15194, which specifies a maximum weight of 120 kilos, including user and equipment.

Our bikes are EN-15194 approved, the European standard for electric bikes, and the battery is EN-62133 approved.

Luggage racks:
Our bikes are compatible with all luggage racks on the market, adapted for disc brakes and chainstay mounting.

We have recently developed our own luggage rack. This will also enable you to install a baby seat.

Basket:
The Courcelles model is only compatible with baskets that attach to the top of the fork.

The Bellecour model is also compatible with handlebar-mounted baskets.

In general, we recommend using the baskets developed by Voltaire (or the Victoria brand for wicker baskets to attach to the handlebars of our Bellecour model).

Clean, light, durable and maintenance-free, the belt is much more suitable for city use.

Thanks to a torque sensor, and depending on the power of the rider's pedaling, the motor intelligently adapts the assistance it delivers to the user.

Le Courcelles is equipped with an electronic system that effectively combats the risk of theft: 75% of stolen bikes were recovered in less than 2 hours! 

When the bike is switched off, a motion detector remains active. If the bike moves, it will emit an initial sound and wake up a GPS.

If the GPS sees that its position is moving, then the bike will start beeping continuously.
You can choose to receive notifications at these two stages (Motion Detection and Flight Confirmation) directly from the application. 

We have developed the application for Android and iOS (Apple) operating systems.

The application is essential for pairing the Voltaire Courcelles and linking it to your account.

Later, our system enables use with an NFC badge, without dependence on your phone. It's the same technology used for contactless payment: reliable, secure and robust. 

In addition to unlocking and switching on your bike, the application allows you to :

• adjust lighting intensity,
• select motor assistance level,
• add NFC badges to unlock the bike,
• receive notifications in the event of theft.

In order to geolocate the bike in the event of theft, our electronics are equipped with a sim card enabling connection to the Internet via LTE. As with a cell phone package, additional costs may apply depending on the country in which you are located.

Yes, you have 30 days to inform us of your wish to return the bike, then 14 days to send it back once the request has been made.

During the life of your Voltaire bicycle, you need to maintain it regularly.

There are two ways to care for them:

• Regular maintenance: remember to clean your bike with a damp microfiber cloth and soapy water at least once a month. Avoid contact of electrical components with water. Once you've finished, remember to dry your Voltaire thoroughly.
• Belt cleaning and lubrication: clean your belt with a damp microfiber cloth and soapy water. Once dry, lubricate with a silicone lubricant (avoid WD-40 type oil). In the event of squeaking, this procedure will also help you solve the problem.
