Great news for our cycling friends in Nantes!
The "Grandes Routes vélo" project, which has been in development since 2021, aims to make everyday life easier for cyclists and reduce traffic congestion in the city of Nantes. The city recently announced the final route for 220 kilometers of bike lanes that will connect it to neighboring municipalities. They will be operational by 2026.
To ensure an optimal experience, a comprehensive signage system has been developed. Nicolas Martin, vice president responsible for soft mobility, announces that roundabouts, stations, bike paths, and many other developments have been designed with the aim of ensuring smooth and pleasant traffic flow for cyclists.
Starting this September, two sections will enter the testing phase. Users will be strongly encouraged to share their opinions using the Naolib application.
So, dear residents of Nantes, we eagerly await your feedback!
We would like to take this opportunity to mention our partners in Nantes, The Bicycle Club and L'atelier du Poupoupidou, who must be delighted with this major project.
